Welcome to Communicate for a Change

The Problem
Are you avoiding having a conversation that you know you need to have? At home or work?
Perhaps the last time you tried it ended badly and you fear the same thing will happen. Perhaps there was a misunderstanding? Maybe you lost your temper or they did?
Or you started and before you know it, it turned so dull & predictable, like speaking lines from a film script?
As a result, it’s unfinished business without having the connection that you really want.

My Promise to you
Understanding how we create problems with our communication and learning how to make changes for the better has been one of  life’s great gifts to me.
I want to show you how we create these problems and then share the knowledge and skills that I’ve learned to move from conflict to collaboration and from argument to agreement.

My invitation
If any of this has struck a chord with you , I’d love for you to get in touch so I can help you get better results from your communication with others.
And the good news is it doesn’t involve anyone else! It starts with you and what you’re thinking and feeling.
This makes all the difference.
To find out more, click on any of the articles that I’ve written. You can see the titles on the right.
If you find what you read of interest, leave your name and email address in the box below and I’ll make sure you know when the next one comes out. I post once a week on average.

Who am I?
I trained as a teacher, taught English & Drama in secondary schools for 12 years, before founding my own coaching & training business in 1992. I have 3 sons, 5 grandsons and 1 granddaughter who I love spending time with.

I’m trained in NLP, Nonviolent Communication (NVC), Mediation and Restorative Practice.
When I’m not working, I love spending time at the allotment I share with my partner, have a deep love of music, dance, film, theatre and being out into nature. All of which help me to stay connected to the people and things that I care about most.
